When the drawmaster had done his arithmetic, the Stayner rink of Marion Emmons, Mary Grant and Verona Besse were declared winners on a superior score of 45 points. The other rink with a perfect score, but three points less, were Midland's Elva Vasey, Ruth French and Betty Pearson.
