Midland Buildall is a member of a team that helped construct a com- munity building in Port McNicoll's Talbot Park. Last week Buildall presented a $4,000 che- que to the Port MecNicoll council and to the Anglers and Hunters association, who have donated labor _ for quarters for new change rooms, a youth centre, and its own clubroom. Buildall owners, the Bray family, are into their third generation in the business, according to Keith Donaldson, Buildall's general manager. He said, "Because it's a family business, they like to put money back in the community,' Donaldson said. Frank's father started the business, according to Donaldson. Now Frank is owner and his son, Bob, is president. Things generally came together to start the pro- ject. The Anglers and Hunters were looking for quarters to hold func- tions, and the youth group needed better facilities than the park's change rooms. "We usually got 20 to 25 people out on a weekend,' Simpson recalled. Buildall was a team member from the beginn- ing. Marshal Laurin, foreman, draftsperson and chief estimator for the Midland company, drew plans for less than a third of the normal cost. Simpson expects the in- side work to be done this spring, "not before the baseball season," to be exact. The Anglers and Hunters are looking for- ward to a place for their meetings. The group works to preserve the wetlands of Ontario. The new spot also will serve for suppers, Santa Claus day for the kids, and home base for hayrides, according to Simpson. sce TTONEw, Body Toning Clinics Stop Smoking «Lose Weight LASER THERAPY AT DIETTONE CLINIC Safe, effective, painless For appointment call 794.7399 Elmvale speaks up Elmvale will be represented today at the first hearing into the pro- posal to dump garbage at Site 41 in Tiny Township.
