Christy Lavin picked up the slack and sank seven crucial foul shots in the second half for a 23 point contest. Lavin was nam- ed the tourney's MVP. Huron Park were the runners-up last year to Regent while Castex have been in the bridesmaid role four times in the seven years of the tourney.
