Heritage day approaches deritage Day will be celebrated at Sainte Marie among the Hurons on Highway 12 near Midland. This annual event will be held Feb. 19, with many activities planned between noon and 4:30 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for seniors, children and Friends of Sainte-Marie. Outdoor activities, displays, foods and demonstrations from around the world are planned by the Friends of Sainte Marie, who each year sponsor this event. The event is to encourage families to spead the day together having fun and take time to examine and be proud of their par- icular heritage. Shirley Whittington, public relations officer at Huronia Historical Parks, finds the most exciting part of the day "is the people from our com- munity who share their heritage with the others who participate in In the winter: Ste.
