Students complete wood furniture With the completion of the first semester at Le Caron, woodworking students are making ar- rangements to move their furniture products home. Teacher Andre Forget has completed a furniture making unit with a group of 11 students in the tem- porary shop facilities. The furniture was designed by the course instructor but each stu- dent had to make a selec- tion, read the plans, select materials and design or select individual carvings for the panels on the door fronts. Each project cost ap- proximately $70 for materials and hardware but the finished products have a value of at least $500 each.
