Mrs. Hays, who shot herself Monday morning week at Wiarton, Ont., died on ast Friday. She leaves a husband and mall family to mourn her untimely end. She got up un the fatal morning apparently n her usual good health, made on the fire, and had begun to pre pare the Breakfast, when by some sudden impulse she seized a revolver from the shelf which happened to have one chamber charged, and lodged the contents in her left side. She never rallied, but sunk gridually until death ended her sufferings. Religious excitement was the cause of her committing suicide. The family formerly resided in Mitcheli Foresters' Concert, Ball and Supper. Death of Dr, Tirrati. Dr. Thrall, who had been suffering from ill health for a long time, died at Wood- stock on Thursday morning. He was wide- ly known, having practiced his profession at Burgeasville for a number of years pre- vious tu his removal to Woodstock, He was born at Canadaigua, N. Y,, 58 years ago, and has been a reaident of Oxford for over 20 years.
