Mason, 157 Water street, became the bride of Stuart Porter, of Dundalk, son of Mrs. Porter and the late T. G. Porter, of Orangeville. The home was beau- tifully decorated for the occas'on and the pretty lawn so well harmonized with the happy wedding party who breakfasted on the spacious veranda Rev. W. E. Donnelly, of Central United Church, performed the wed- ding ceremony in the presence of the members of the family and immediate friends and relatives. The bride was beautifully gowned in white georg- ette with Carrickmacross lace, veil and orange wreath and carried a bou- quet of Ophelia roses: She was at- tended by Miss Ina Porter, of Orange- ville, who wore a pretty dress of poudre 'blue georgette with ribbon trimming and carried a bouquet of sunburst roses, The bridegroom was supported by Mr. W_ Porter of Orange- ville. The wedding music was play- ed by Mrs. Thomas Rowe, of Hamil- ton, who wore a gown of sapphire blue embroidered georgette. Mrs. J. J. Mason wore a handsome gown of fawn and blue, a dress of black georgette trimmed with fawn silk. Mait- land and family and Mr. and Mrs, Arthur Mason, Toronto; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mason and family, Mr. and Mrs. J: S. White, city,.and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Rowe, Hamilton. MILLER--MAYNARD St. Paul's Church presented a pretty scene Wednesday afternoon when Gladys Mary, the charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C J. Mayn- ard, 123 Mowat street, became the bride of David Wesley Miller, son of Mr, and Mrs. A. W. Miller, of North Easthope. Rev. H. W. Snell, rector of the church, officiated. The wedding music was played by Mr. Frank 6S. Walker, A.Mus., L.C.M., organist of the church, and during-the signing of the register, Mr. C. C. Maynard, bro- ther of the bride, sang "Beloved 'Tis Morn." The bride, who was given away by her father, was beautifully gowned in a dress of ivory crepe de chine with an over skirt of lace. She wore the conventional veil and orange blossoms and earried a bouquet of butterfly roses and lily of the valley. Ina ) pride, and Lily Maynard, sister of the Porter and Mr. W. Little Thelma Maynard, niece of the bride, made cute flower girls and looked most pleasing in their dresses of pink silk with picture hats and carrying baskets of white and mauve sweet peas. The bridegroom was at- tended by Mr. Jack Bain of Trow Ave., city. Following the ceremony a wed- ding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents, which was beauti- fully decorated for the oceasion with a color scheme of white and mauve. The young couple left in the afternoon on a honeymoon trip to Muskoka and on their return will reside in the city. This popular young couple carry with them the best wishes of a host of friends.
