THE MIRROR Local Interest An event of much interest took Place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Lawson, 249 Nile street, at one o'clock last Saturday afternoon. The home was beautifully decorated for the occasion, which was the mar- riage Of their daughter, Margaret, to Arthur Grant, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Treffry. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W. Stanley Owen, pastor of St. John's United Church, while the bridal party stood underneath an arch made of pink and white asters. The bride carried a bouquet of pink and white asters and looked charming. She Wore a dress of coral georgette, trim- med with Gupre lace. The brides- maid, Miss Hazel Wyatt, also looked pretty in a pale blue georgette dress trimmed with lace, and carried a bou- quet of Columbia roses. The groom was supported by Russel Lawson, brother of the bride. Miss Eva Ham Sang sweetly and expressively the Song entitled "Because."
