Listowel Man Loses Sister— Fordwich Record—On Wednesday last there passed away to ‘her re- ward, at the home of her daughter at Staten Island,: New York, | ! i Catherine McLeod, a pioneer af How- ick, and relict of the late Murdoch McLeod. Death was caused by pneu- monia, with which she was ill for over two weeks. Deceased was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, and came to Canada when in her ‘teens. Her maiden name was Catherine Keith. About a year ago she left her old home on the 11th. con..to spend the remainder of her days with her daughter, Mrs. Nims, at Staten Is- land, She is survived by four sons and two-daughters, viz: John in Van- couver, Jim at Excell, Alta:; Norm- an, near Clifford; Leslie, at home; Mrs. Nims and Mrs. Davies,#both at Staten Island.
