- A cord made of hemp and porcupine quills dyed from the Iroquois by the Indian kings - given me by Mr [Capt.] Middleton - for tying their prisoners. (Number 573). The same of a coarser sort without the quills (Number 574). An Indian purse made by the Huron Savages of Canada with the crin or hair of the Orignac which they dye with roots. (Number 203).
