VANEVERY; Charles H. - Peacefully, at the Brantford General Hospital, on Tuesday, February 24, 1987, Charles H. VanEvery, in his 87th year; beloved husband of the late Rachel Lewis; loving father of Lorne of Niagara Falls, New York; Reta (Mrs. Roy Dockstater) of Hamilton; Jeff of R. 1 Wilsonville and Phyllis Hess of R. 6 Hagersville; predeceased by two daughters, Florence and Clara; dear grandfather of 21 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; brother of the late Peter, Jim, Freeman, Leonard and Rachel; also survived by sister-in-law, Evelyn VanEvery. The family will receive friends at the Hyde & Mott Funeral Home, Hagersville, 7 to 9, Thursday; 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday; then to St. Paul's Anglican Church for funeral service on Saturday at 1 p.m. Burial Stump Hall. Evening prayers 7 p.m., Friday. The casket will be closed at the funeral home at 12 noon on Saturday.
