MT PLEASANT Oliver Wendall - At Brantford General Hospital on February 22, 1996, Oliver Wendell Mt Pleasant, age 90 years; beloved husband of Lola (Garlow) Mt Pleasant; dear father of Joan C. Ainslie of California; Myrna L. Welty and Russell C. and Marilyn A. Mt Pleasant, all of Clifton Park, New York; Elaine J. Mt Pleasant of Gainsville, Florida; Brenda M. and Sione Helu of Syracuse, New York; grandfather of 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Wendell was an avid spokesman on Native American Folklore and History, a retired employee of the Bristol Myers Pharmaceutical Co., Syracuse, New York. Resting at the Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken after 2 p.m., Sunday where funeral service will be held in the chapel on Sunday at 5 p.m. As an expression of your sympathy, donations may be made in his memory to the Ohsweken Baptist Church, Youth Fund.
