CHURA; Peter (Pat) - At St. John's Hospital, on Tuesday, July 12, 1988, Peter Chura, born in Krydor, Saskatchewan, Januarv 1, 1909; beloved husband of Dorothy (Dora) Kohut; loving father of Diana and husband, Wayne Wilson of British Columbia; dear brother of Paul of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan; Stella Stokalko of Krydor, Saskatchewan; Walter of San Jose, California; Gene of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Mr. Chura is survived by many nieces and nephews. He taught school in Krydor, Clear Spring and also taught at Six Nations Indian Reserve, Brantford. He was past president of Horne and School Association, an active member of Knights of Columbus Council, 1679 and a Fourth Degree member; and also a member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of St. John. the family will receive their friends at the "THORPE BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME", 96 West Street, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of St. John. 100 Terrace Hill Street on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. Interment St. Joseph's cemetery. Panachyda at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. Knights of Columbus Roesary at 8:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations would be appreciated to the C.A.T. Scan Fund or the Canadian cancer Society.
