JACOBS - At the Hotel Dieu Hospital, St. Catharines, on Monday, June 29, 1981, Herbert Jacobs, formerly of R. 2 Ohsweken in his 54th year; beloved husband of Joan Crawford; dear father of Mrs. Roxie Harris, Niagara Falls, New York; James of St. Catharines; Delmore of Jordan; Herbert Jr., Debra, Walter and Thomas, all at home; brother of Harvey, Mrs. Ethel Bomberry and Mrs. Olive Smoke, all of Ohsweken; Mrs. Evelen Jacobs, R. 6 Hagersville and Mrs. Irene Jacobs of Jordan; nephew of Freeman Jacobs of R. 1 Ohsweken; also survived by five grandchildren. Resting at his home (Beavers Corners). Funeral service Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Lower Cayuga Longhouse. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
