Sandy of R. 1 Ohsweken, in his 79th year; beloved husband of Elizabeth Sky; loving father of Mrs. Harry (Irene) Longboat; Mrs. Carmen (Doreen) Davey; Mrs. James (Romaine) Styres; Mrs. Phillip (Barbara) Harris; Mitchell, Daniel and Vincent all of Ohsweken; Mrs. Norman (Joyce) Demas, Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Mrs. Burton (Josephine) Farnham, Tonawanda, N.Y.; uncle of Norman Chew, Lewiston, N.Y.; Pat Sandy Jr. and Gordon Longboat both of Ohsweken; Lee Longboat and George Longboat of Buffalo, N.Y.; Stewart of Hamilton; also survived by several cousins including Margaret Farnham of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; 48 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers Patrick, Charles and David. Rested at his home (Fourth Line) until Thursday morning, then to the Lower Cayuga Longhouse for funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
