STAATS - Suddenly at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, April 27, 1981, Stewart E. Staats of R. 6 Hagersville, in his 70th year; beloved husband of Violet Maracle; dear father of Mrs. Patricia Fraser and Mrs. Gerald (Sandra) Jonathan, both of R. 6 Hagersville; Mrs. Eugene (Jeannette) Mayer, Fair Haven, Michigan; brother of Mrs. Flora Garlow and Mrs. Martha Willson, both of Brantford; Mrs. Ruby Maracle, Buffalo, N.Y.; Mrs. Dorothy Johnson and Edna, both of Simcoe; also survived by 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; predeceased by two sons, Marvin and Roger. Resting at the Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken, until Wednesday, for complete service at the funeral home, 2 p.m. Interment in Plymouth Brethren Cemetery. Evening prayers Tuesday 8 p.m. Pastor O. Orpano officiating.
