SOWDEN - At the Chedoke Hospital, Hamilton, on Sunday, April 13, 1980, Freeman Sowden of R6 Hagersville, in his 80th year; beloved husband of Alma Martin; loving father of John F., Buffalo, New York; Mrs. Flossie Burns, Toronto; Les at home; Mrs. Grace Hager of Caledonia; dear foster father of Ronald E. of London; also survived by seven grandchildren. Resting at the Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken, until Wednesday, 1:30 p.m.; then to the Medina Baptist Church for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in adjoining cemetery. Evening prayers, Tuesday, 8 p.m. Rev. M. Henry and Rev. G. Roberts officiating.
