MTPLEASANT - At the West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville, on March 19, 1979, Enoch J. MtPleasant of R2 Ohsweken, in his 87th year; father of Mrs. Stanley (Bessie) Skye, R2 Ohsweken; brother of Robert MtPleasant of Ohsweken; Mrs. Helen Salter, Toronto; Mrs. Evelyn Edel and Mrs. Pearl Smith; both of Buffalo, N.Y.; also survived by two grandsons; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Rested at the Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken, until Wednesday, 12:30 p.m.; then to the Ohsweken Baptist Church for funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Interment in adjoining cemetery. Evening prayers were Tuesday 8 p.m., Rev. M. Henry officiating. (Casket remained open at the church, Wednesday, from 1 to 1:30 p.m.).
