LONGBOAT; Alton - At the Henderson General Hospital, Hamilton, on Friday, October 15, 1982, Alton Longboat of R. 2 Ohsweken in his 62nd year; beloved husband of Cassie Longboat; loving father of Mrs. Ray (Adeline) Lewis, Hamilton; Mrs. Carl (Gloria) Burly, North Carolina; Mrs. Carl (Bernice) Johnson, Mrs. Jacob (Cordelia) Thomas Jr., Mrs. Morley (Mary) Sandy, Peggy Longboat, Mrs. Jack (Angela) Warner, Jim, Rodney, Mervin and Virgil, all of Ohsweken; Mrs. Sam (Sally) Marasco in the Middle East; dear brother of Mrs. Marie Henry and Cleveland, both of Ohsweken. Also survived by 24 grandchildren. Resting at his home, R. 2 Ohsweken from 3 p.m., Saturday (today) until 10:30 a.m., Monday, then to the Seneca Longhouse for funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment in adjoining cemetery. Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken, in charge of arrangements.
