- MCNAUGHTON; Ashton J. (Eddie) - At St. Joseph's Hospital on Thursday, October 27, 1983, in his 88th year, Ashton J. (Eddie) McNaughton; loving husband of Alice McNaughton, R.N.; dear father of James and his wife, Gertrude of Brantford; loving grandfather of Louise Croken, Mary Paquet and Bill and six great-grandchildren; dear brother of Mrs. Charlotte Martin of Ohsweken. Friends will be received at the McCleister Funeral Home, 30 Brant Avenue, Friday afternoon and evening. Funeral service and committal service in the chapel on Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery. Rev. Harry Manning of Balfour United Church will officiate.
