Smith of R. 6 Hagersville, in his 86th year; beloved husband of Beatrice Martin; dear father of Graham Snyder, New York; Edgar, Niagara Falls, New York; Ervin, R. 6 Hagersville and Mrs. Barbara Vyse, R. 2 Caledonia; brother of Norman, Florida; Dr. Dan and William, both of Hagersville; Dr. Minerva Buerk, Philadelphia; Mrs. Wilma Jamieson, R. 1 Ohsweken; Mrs. Florence Hill, R. 2 Ohsweken; Mrs. Eva Childs, Brantford; also survived by nine grand children and 12 great-grandchildren; predeceased by two brothers, Edgar and Oliver and one sister, Mrs. Ruby Sears. Mr. Smith was a life member of the Six Nations Agricultural Society; the Six Nations Plowmen's Association and had also served as a member of the Six Nations Band Council. Resting at the Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken, from 2 p.m., Thursday. Funeral service Friday 2:30 p.m., at St. Paul's Kanyengeh Church, Sour Springs Road. Interment in adjoining cemetery. Evening prayers Thursday 8 p.m. Rev. E. Healy officiating.
