VanEVERY - At the Brantford General Hospital, on Wednesday, April 27, 1977, Peter Edward VanEvery, of R. 6 Hagersville, in his 83rd year, beloved husband of Effie Lewis; dear father of Mrs. Merel Martin, Mrs. Margaret MacDonald both of Fort Erie; Mrs. Vincent (Leona) Hill, Niagara Falls, New York; Norman, Lydonville, New York; Ira of Buffalo, New York; Peter of Sudbury; Rupert, Mitchell, and Mrs. Ruth Hill all of R. 6 Hagersville; dear brother of Charles, R.6 Hagersville; loving grandfather of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; predeceased by his sister Rachel and brothers James, Leonard, and Freeman. Mr. VanEvery was a former member of the Six Nations Elected Council. Friends will be received at the Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken, from 7:30 p.m., Thursday (tonight), until Saturday 1:30 p.m. then to St. Paul's Kanyengeh Church for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in Plymouth Brethren Cemetery. Evening prayers Friday 7:30 p.m. Rev. R. Hayne officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Paul's Kanyengeh Church would be gratefully appreciated.
