KEYE; Amos Sr. - At the Henderson General Hospital, Hamilton, on Tuesday, April 26, 1983, Amos Keye Sr, of R. 1 Ohsweken, in his 80th year; beloved husband of Reta Hill; loving father of Lottie, Austin, Amos Jr., David, Michael and Margaret Bomberry, all of R. 1 Ohsweken, Alfred and Iva Keye, R. 2 Ohsweken; dear grandpa to Diane, Desmond, Lance, Travis, Collin, Jason, Nicole and Michael Jr.; uncle to Mrs. Earl (Minnie) Frohman, R. 1 Ohsweken and the late Kenneth Miller. Mr. Keye carried the honor of Traditional Faith Keeper for the Six Nations Longhouse people and was a former craftsman of lacrosse sticks. "With our Dad a rich history has passed to a place in Heaven where His Honor will last". Rested at his home, until Thursday. Interment at the Seneca Longhouse in adjoining cemetery.
