- "In 2009, the City of Brantford won an injunction to stop Onkwehon:we protests, resulting in a Superior Court of Ontario decision to requiring Ruby and Floyd Montour, Clive Garlow, Charlie Green, David Martin, Hazel Hill and HDI, John Doe, Jane Doe, persons unknown, and HDI lawyer Aaron Detlor to pay the city costs of $375,000. On Monday night the City of Brantford accepted a surprise offer of $175,000 from some of the appellents to resolve the issue. It is unclear who exactly is paying the costs of the settlement."
