- WILFRED FARMER
A sad accident occurred in Hamilton recently when Wilfred Farmer of this Reserve was fatally crushed by an electric crane. He was rushed to the Hamilton General Hospital where he died on Tuesday morning, June 30 as a result of his injuries.. Wilfred, aged 34, was the youngest son of Mr. Henry Farmer and the late Mrs. Farmer. Besides his father he leaves to mourn his loss two brothers, Gordon and Lloyd, both of this Reserve.
The funeral was held on Thursday, July 2, from the home of his father. Interment was at the St. Paul's Church cemetery, Sour Springs, with the Rev. Mr. Jacques officiating. The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful.
