- Description
- "Last year in one of my columns I mentioned the Great Serpent Mound. It is one of the thousands of Indian mounds to be found in Ohio Valley. The Great Serpent Mound is made of earth and is in the form of a crawling snake almost a quarter-mile long. I was surprised to find out that there is a Serpent Mound right here in Ontario near the Curve Lake Ojibway Reserve, not far from Peterborough."
