The show rated the most beautiful in the world is a marvel of poise, charm, balance, rhythm and graceful gliding al: set to specially orchestrated music. The entire program was three hours long with ne' Br a dull moment. Variety·proceeded from the sublime to the comic. Donald Jackson of Oshawa, world amateur and professional champion, was easily the st3,r performer, the epitome of grace ful skating, spectacular jumps, spins and fancy foot- work and kept the audience spell bound" He is truly the "King of Blades.n Handsome Richard Dwyer rates a close second and cuts a dashing figure in top hat and tails escort- ing beautiful lady skaters. Brilliant and colorful costumes added to this spectacular show. Costumes ranged from floor-length and longer to hip-l ength and shorter. · Busloads came from far and near. It was amazing the number of children attending, all ages and sizes from toddlers to H,3 7 students in groups and singly escorted. It's truly an educational show i n phys ical performance. Ice Capades are coming to Kitchener at the end of the month and perhaps we can put a bug in the ecr of the Recreation Commission to allow a busload or two of Indian school children to attend the Ice Capades at Kitchener. Figure skating is now a full-time, well- paid and healthy occupation with plenty of travel. Seeing the show may spark an ambition in a youngster to at least try. If Capades is half as good as the Follies it will be wel l worth seeing. Ed. Six Nat ions Personals Dr. Hm.
