Six Nations News Con 1t Operation Oiibway (3) A Presbyterian Young Peoples Society of Hamil ton , sponsored by the synoas of Hmmilton, and London have a novel and s'?lfless -ray of spending their summer vacation. They conduct 11 0peratiotr-0Jibway a· thr-ee in one summer program on the outlying Reserves of Shoal Lake anq Whitefish Bay in Northern Ontario. Their head quarters are at the Cecilia Jeffery Indian S{[l"hool at Kenora. The group of 15 young people conduct a Vacation Bible ,School., Day Camp, and Adult Education Program for the Indian People. This pro)!,ram ,·ras well re- ceived by the parents and their children las t year, so it is being repeated this year. Fifteen enthusiastic young people from Hamilton Presbyterian Y .P.-S. spend their vacation for t v· o weeks ith the Indians. Meeting place is at the Reserve Schools. Shoal Lake Reserve is more remote, on an island in Lake of the V1oods area and can only be reached by boat.
