League staged their first presentation of two plays on Friday and Saturday evenings of Feb. 21st and 22nd, and for a first production it was no ama- teurish performance. Those who attended were amazed at the poise and aplomb with which the young actors and actresses performed their roles. Shyness and withdraual are faults which too often plague the Indian race and it is in entering in activities such as drama and sports, that these drawbacks can be overcome. It brings out latent talent. The young people and their directors are to be highly complimented on their de- termined and successful efforts . All knew their parts which required a prodigious memory and performance demonstrated th~t the directors knew t heir business. The only criticism we can offer is that the adults failed in their support. The performance deserved a better at tendance. Refreshments were served and during the intermission the Clayborn Hill family and the ifright family favoured Ni th fine vocal music selections. All in all, the event was well worth more than the price of admission.
