- "Ontario President, Carlos Canesco and governor of R.I. District 709, James Turner are present for the opening ceremony in regards of a walkway and observation deck overlooking the Grand River near the Mohawk Chapel at the Woodland Cultural Centre in Brantford. To commemorate the 200th anniversary of the first Mohawk landing at the river in 1784, The Rotary Club of Brantford made these facilities possible. Chief Wellington Staats was also present at the unveiling."
