- Snowsnake tourney a hit with event kids
Three-year-old Jordan Johnson is only chest-high to a snowsnake track.
But that didn't stop him from tossing his mudcat farther than the other kids.
The secret was in the technique.
Like the other children, the Six Nations boy stood a few feet back from the track and psyched himself up for a few moments.
Then he shuffled up to the track as fast as he could, stopped at its mouth just briefly enough to place the mudcat - a short snowsnake - in the groove and push it along.
That way, he didn't have to worry about a throw or his arm aim being off and the errant snowsnake bouncing off the track.
Let the others trying out the demonstration track with him - or the serious men over at the competition track - worry about that.
