OHSWEKEN - The Six Nations community will soon have the first branch of a chartered bank on a reserve.
The full-service branch of the Royal Bank is expected to open in the Iroquois plaza on Chiefswood Road this fall.
The Royal Bank hopes to have native people staff the five or six positions which will open at the branch, but Ms. Singleton said initially they may have non-natives as well, until native people have completed the required training.
