The Monument erected to Captain Joseph Brant, Thayendanegea by National Subscription in Victoria Park, Brantford, Ont.

Will be Unveiled by His Honor Lieut. Governor John Beverly Robinson; assisted by Twelve Indian Chiefs, on Wednesday, 13th, at 12 o'clock.

AFTER THE UNVEILING CEREMONIES, AT 2.00 P.M.

Grand Procession of Indians, Fire Companies, Knights of Sherwood Forest and Bands, Dignitaries and Guests in Carriages.

To the Agricultural Park to Witness Indian Sports, etc
SECOND DAY,

Trades Procession, Inspection of Public Buildings and Points of Interest, by Chiefs Crowfoot, Three Bulls and other distinguished North-West Indians, Guests, etc., from the Market Square,

Procession at 1 p.m. to Agricultural Park,

Professional Base Ball Match - Exhibition Drills - Amateur Athletic Sports, Games, Tugs of War, Exciting Test of Speed, Bicycle vs. Horse, etc.

Railways are issuing Tickets to Brantford and Return at specially reduced rates from 12th to 15th. Special late Trains connecting with main line.

Admission each Day, 25c. Children under 12 yrs., 15c. Carriages Extra.

First Day, Wednesday, Oct. 13

__ 12 o'clock. A Guard of Honor and Band of the Dufferin Rifles will form ___ctoria Park under command of Capt. T. Harry Jones.

The Chiefs and Warriors of the Six Nations Indians, with their brethren ___ the United States and other parts of Canada, will assemble, with bands, ___e Indian Office, at 11.30 o'clock, and then form in line of march along Dal-__e street, eastward, facing westward.

Two verses of the one hundred, Psalm. Chorus and Bands

Prayer by Rev. Wm. Cochrane, D. D.

The __________ His Honor to be pleased to unveil the Statue of Brant.

Here the Sculptor, Mr. Percy Wood, will hand the cords to the President, and to the twelve Chiefs, who are to unveil the groups and bas-reliefs.

The cords having been drawn, and the Memorial exposed to view, the __.-Governor will deliver his address.

Chorus-Mendelssohn Society, "Brant Memorial Song," words by M. __ckenzie, Music by Prof. Garratt.

Memorial Ode, composed by E. Pauline Johnson.

Address by a Chief of the Six Nations Indians.

Speech by the Superintendent General of Indian Affairs.

The President of the Association will address the Mayor of the City of __ntford, in assigning to him and the Corporation the future charge and __ of the Memorial, who will accept and reply on behalf of the city.

THE PROCESSION:

Of Indian Chiefs, Warriors and brethren, Indian Lacrosse Teams __ Bands, representing the Six Nations, Chippewas, and tribes from the __rthwest, will re-form on Victoria Square, preceded by members of the __nt Memorial Association, the Lieut-Governor, and distinguished guests __ carriages, proceeding to the Agricultural Park. Route, down Market __to Colborne, thence to the Park, where speeches will be delivered by __minent visitors, and the following Programme conducted:



Indian Sports Programme.

1 - Indian Song, by native vocalists.

2 - Indian Green Corn Dance.

3 - Indian Lacrosse Match, - Tuscarora ___ vs. Gibson's famous twelve for a handsome cash srize.

4 - Half mile Indian foot race. 1st prize, $3.00; 2nd prize, $2.00

5 - Indian Running Broad Jump. 1st prize, $_.00: 2nd prize, $1.00

6 - Indian Tug-of-War, eight men a side - Six Nations vs. other Tribes - $4.00

7 - Indian Sack Race, 50 yards. Cash prize $2.00

8 - Indian Three-legged Race, 50 yards. Cash prize $2.00

9 - Indian 100 yards race. 1st prize, $3.00; 2nd prize, $2.00

10 - Grand Indian War Dance and Whoop around Roasted Ox.

11 - Roasted Ox to be distributed, with 200 loaves of bread and other delicacies.

IN THE EVENING,

At _ o'clock, Grand Banquet in the Kerby House. Band of the Dufferin Rifles in attendance, by permission of Lieut.-Col. Jones.

At Stratford's Opera House, at 8 o'clock, grand performance by troupes of Indian Warriors, depicting aboriginal manners and customs. Six Nations Band in attendance.

Torchlight Procession from the Fire Hall at 7.30 to the Skating Rink, and Grand Fancy Entertainment and Exhibition Drill by Brant Hose Company and Knights of Sherwood Forest. Bicycling Feats by Westbrook and Hacker. Holmedale and Independent Bands in attendance.

Concert in Wicklife Hall by popular artists of the day.

Second Day, Thursday, Oct. 14

9.00 a.m. - Monster Trades Procession, upwards of 100 manufacturers and merchants taking part. Forming on the Market Square, and proceeding at 9.30 along the principal thoroughfares.

10.30 a.m. - Inspection of public buildings and objects of interest by Chiefs Crowfoot, Three Bulls, and other distinguished Northwest Indians and prominent guests in carriages.

1.00 p.m. - Procession from the Market Square, to the Agricultural Park.

2.00 p.m. - International League Baseball Match, for a special award, and final game of the season - Toronto vs. Hamilton.

Exhibition of Fancy Drill by Brant Hose Co., Victoria Hook & Ladder Co., Knights of Sherwood Forest, with sword exercise; and Juvenile Foresters.

TUG OF WAR - Dufferin Rifles vs. Fire Department. 8 men to a team. - Special Prize

Five Amateur Events -

(a) 100 yards run - Gold Medal. Entrance Fee 50 cents.

(b) 220 yards run - Silver Medal. Entrance fee 25 cents.

(c) 440 yards run - Silver Medal. Entrance fee 25 cents.

(d) Putting the Shot - Silver Medal. Entrance fee 25 cents.

(e) Running Broad Jump - Silver Medal. Entrance fee 25 cents.

___ Amateur Athletic Association Rules. Races started by pistol shot.

EXCITING TEST OF SPEED - Horse vs. Bicycle. - For the first time _______paugh's and Orrin Bros.' Circuses, and the justly celebrated trotting stallion Keno, who recently made the marvellous record in Springfield, Mass., of 5 miles in 14 min. 10 sec. This match has been arranged with great difficulty, and will be supplemented by Westbrook & Hacker's astounding Bicycle feats.
