Rolling Car Kills Pedestrian Ervin Maracle, 49, of Buffalo and the Six Nations Reserve, was killed when he was struck by a car Sunday morning, while he was carrying a pail of water to his home along the Indian townline. The car, driven by John Johnson, 20, of R. R. l Wilsonville, went out of control, rolled over and struck Maracle as he walked along the road. Interment in adjoining cemetery. Rev. K. Hansen officiated. Hill - An autopsy conducted on the body of Clifford David Hill, 46, of R. R. 1, Wilsonville, Wednesday May 29th, indicated that he died as the result of natural causes - a perforated stomach ulcer. Mr. Hill received injuries in a two-vehicle, head-on crash on a township road near Oakland, on the previous Monday. He was treated at the Brantford General Hospital, along with two other occupants of the car and released. He died Wednesday morning. He leaves his wife, Joyce Fraser, and a daughter, Carol; parents Mr. & Mrs. David Hill, Hagersville. The funeral was on Friday, May 31, with interment in Hagersville cemetery.
