- New Credit follows suit with Six NationsBy Al Sault, NEW CREDIT
The Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation has followed suit with Six Nations elected council and purchased a $25,000.00 sponsorship package from CKRZ that, like Six Nations, will be used to advertise the various activities of their departments. Unlike Six Nations however, New Credit Chief Bryan Laforme said they do not have any immediate plans to include any of his council's departments in an on-air programming like Six Nations Health Services did with "The Community Health Show." The Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation had been doing updates with their chief at the radio station prior to its re-birth.
