Seneca dispute (Continued from front page) Last Friday, Bowen asked the community to observe a 10:00 PM curfew. He asked Seneca members to put their guns away during the crisis and avoid alcohol or substance use. The Buffalo News reported that 2 of the 3 people who died in the March 25th shooting had high levels of alcohol in their blood. The report did not say which of the 2 victims this applied to. Six Nations member Sam Powless, who was shot to death on March 25th in front the Bowen headquarters was employed by the Seneca Party faction which the U.S. government chose not to support.
