Peacefully amongst family at Henderson General Hospital, Hamilton on Tuesday August 8, 1995. Joyce (Lickers) Hill in her 53rd year. Beloved wife of Larry John Hill Sr. Loving mother of Lorrie and Paul Bowman of Hagersville, Larry "Sonny" and Valerie Hill, Sheila Hill and Dan, Colleen and William Montour Jr. and Derek Hill. Special friend of Delby & Marcie Powless. Godmother of Diana "Ducks" Staats, all of Six Nations. Dear grandmother of Delby Jr., Joshua, Andrew, Bailly, Zachary, Samantha, Honey, Madeline, and Nicholas. Sister of Florence Martin, Elmer "sonny" and Marie Lickers, Norma Davis, Vincent and Lue Lickers, Clifford and Dord Lickers, Leonard and Norma Lickers, Morley and Twila Lickers, and Deanna & Jack McNaughton. Special aunt of Brandon, and Tara. Also survived by several other nieces and nephews. Daughter-in-law of Christine and the late Stan Hill. Predeceased by parents Elmer and Lillian (Jonathan) Lickers and sisters Dolly Lickers and Lillian Miller. Joyce was actively involved with Six Nations lacrosse for 25 years. Rested at her daughter, Colleen's home on Onondaga Rd. Funeral Service & Burial were at Onondaga Longhouse on Friday. Arrangements by Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken.
