- LONGBOAT: Gary AndersonWith great sadness, we the family announce the passing of our loved one, Gary Anderson Longboat. Suddenly at home on Tuesday the 10th of October in his 60th year, beloved son of Mary & the late Carl Longboat, sadly missed by brother Allan & Pat Longboat and sister Carol & Cliff Bomberry and many loved nieces and nephews, and special friend of Joyce Johnson and family. Predeceased by wife Kayleen and daughter Adrienne and two brothers Wayne & Robert. Gary was retired after 30 years at the Ford Motor Co. in Detroit. He previously was in the U.S. Air Force for 5 years serving mostly overseas, upon returning home he was actively involved in Canadian Legion in Hagersville Branch #164 as an Executive and Six Nations Veterans Association as president. He was also a member of S.N. Harnessmen's Association. Rested at the Styres Funeral Home till Friday October 13. Interment St. Peters Anglican Cemetery. Proceeds to Brantwood Development Centre in memory of his nephew Carl would be greatly appreciated.
