SMITH, EDGAR G., SR.: Peacefully after a lengthy illness at home in Niagara Falls, New York. On Friday, October 3; 1997. Beloved husband of 49 years of Florence (Martin) Smith and dear father of Helen Marie, and her husband Wayne Price of Belleville, Illinois, E. Glenn Jr. and his wife Carol of Fayetteville, Georgia and Lois and her husband Jim Murphy of Niagara Falls, New York; brother of W. Graham Smith (Shirley), and sister B. Barbara Vyse, all of Six Nations, Ontario. The son of the late Wilfred and Beatrice (Martin) Smith and predeceased by two brothers, Martin and Irvin.; survived by aunts, and uncle, and cousins. Mr. Smith was a 40 year member of the International local #65 at Niagara Falls, at his retirement in 1988 he served as financial secretary of his local. He was a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 346, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 917 Boosters. Funeral Services will be at· the Otto Redailz Funeral Home, Lasalle Park Chapel at l p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 1997. Interment at Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
