GENERAL: Velma Peacefully at Brantford General Hospital on Monday, September 29, 1997. Velma (Bomberry) General in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of Maynard General, loving mother of Shirley of Cambridge, Eugene of Ohsweken, Cameron of Ohsweken, Debbie of Calgary, Dale of Ohsweken, Colin of Ohsweken, Harry of Ohsweken, Andrea I of Hagersville, Lisa of Brantford, and Genda of Brantford. Dear daughter of Laura and the late Fred Sims. Sister of Leila, Wilma, Gloria, and the late Betty, Alma, and George. Also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Resting at Hyde & Mou Chapel. Hagersville after 2 p.m. Wednesday until 1:30 p.m. Thursday then Resting at Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken after 2 p.m. Thursday where Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow with interment at Medina Baptist Cemetery. Evening Prayers 7 p.m. Wednesday at Hyde & Mou, and 7 p.m. Thursday at Styres.
