- SKY: James Suddenly at West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville, as a result of a heart attack on Friday April 14, 2000. James (Jim) Sky age 65 years. Beloved husband of Deanna, loving Dad of Lori and Frank, Bonnie and Jose, Sue and Dan, Geordie and Lisa, Cecilia and Ed, and Reid. Dear Papa of Ryan, Dihoh, Hodo, Jody-Lee, Lena, Dylan, Bradyn, Geordie Jr., Savannah, Keelan, Greg and Jeremiah. Great Papa of Destiny, Christina, and Trystin. Brother of Peter and Gloria, Evelyn and Jackie, Eileen, Marvin and Dorothy, Carl, and Diane and Aly. Dear friend of Yogi Williams, Marty Jacobs, and Darcy Bomberry. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jim was the Director of the Jim Sky Iroquois Dancers. Rested at his home on Friday. Funeral services and burial were held at Onondaga Longhouse on Sunday. Arrangements by Styres Funeral Home.
