Description
1849 Assessment Roll of taxes for Rawdon Township. Names the owner/occupant of the land and gives details about the lot and concession number, the number of acres cultivated and uncultivated, whether the house on the property is framed, brick or stone. The assessment roll also contains information on saw mills, merchant shops, and store houses that may be on the property and information on the number of horses, oxen, milk cows and horned cattle.
Notes
The assessment rolls were transcribed to be used as a finding aid for the originals.
