We regret to report the continued ill-health of one of our members, Mrs. W. Spry, and it is with feelings of great sadness and deep sympathy that we record the death of Mrs. T. J. Report of Secretary-- During the year just closed we held eleven meetings with an average attendance of eighteen, although we have thirty-seven names on our Roll. But some of these have joined our ranks only recently. i i •/ Organist--Mrs. Gordon Webb. Department Conveners--Misses H. Chute, J. Robinson, Gladys Williams, Helen Bateman, and Mr. Geo. A. Williams. Expenditures At these eleven meetings, besides the regular routine of busi ness, eighteen papers have been given. At the March meeting the program entitled "That Jesus may be lifted up" was carried through. As a means of raising money chain teas were resorted to. A Social Meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Wesley Heath in March. A splendid entertainment was given by Mr. C. A. Cook of Ottawa. In July the L.A. assisted in the Annual Lawn Social. In October we were the hostesses to Bethel L.A. v. Stirling L. Union. At Thanks-giving the Fowl Supper was a decided success. After de ducting expenses entailed in carrying out all these activities the L.A. purchased nine dozen Knives and Forks, also several table cloths. A donation for prizes was given in connection with the Temperance contest. Flowers have been sent to sick members and a wreath for Mrs. Thompson.
