- SCOPE AND CONTENTS
This subgroup consists of the financial records for St. Jerome's College from 1924-1947, plus one unaudited financial statement for 1955; for the University of St. Jerome's College and St. Jerome's University from 1962-2010; there is an accounts ledger for the Kingsdale campus covering the years 1953 to 1965 (the accounts are listed alphabetically); and proposed, estimated and revised departmental, library, academic, decanal and Special programs budgets, budgets for the entire college, and budget approvals.
For the years 1924-1947 the records consist of the semi-annual (January and July) financial statements that were reported to Rome. Some years include a separate account sheet for the St. Jerome's Novitiate. There is a ledger for 1961-1962 and computer printouts for 1980-1988.
Also included is correspondence naming signing authorities. From 1968 the records are audited annual financial statements. There are also income and expenditure summaries for the years 1962-1964.
Financial statements are missing for the years 1948-1961. There are also portfolio valuation summaries for the years 1975 to 1979; 1981; 1983; 1985; 1988; and 1989; a file of old stock and bond certificates dating from 1903 to 1928, and an expense ledger for 1865-1867.
In the Fall of 2019 the Executive Director, Finance and Administration became responsible for the pan-organizational oversight of the Office of Student Affairs, Human Resources, Information Technologies, and Facilities Management (formerly administered by the office of the Vice-President, Administration).

- Statements for the years 1924-1947 are glued into a notebook which is in fragile condition (loose pages).
Dates of the records range from 1865-1867; then 1903-2012 with the years 1924-1947 and 1962-2014 being predominant.

St. Jerome's University is located in Waterloo, Ontario, and is situated in the University of Waterloo. It was founded as St. Jerome's College in 1865 by the Congregation of the Resurrection. In 1959, it was granted university status and changed its name to the University of St. Jerome's College. It has been federated with the University of Waterloo since 1960. In 1998, the name was officially changed to St. Jerome's University.
