- ADMINISTRATIVE HISTORY
The Archives Committee was mandated by the President of St. Jerome's in 1990 to be chaired by the Librarian who assumed direct responsibility for the initiatives to be undertaken in order to organize and house archival material. The Archives Committee serves as an advisory body to the President as well as to the Archives Manager.
The St. Jerome's University Archives houses the historically valuable documents of St. Jerome's College from 1865 to the present. St. Jerome's also houses, on a permanent loan arrangement, the archives of the Ontario-Kentucky Province of the Congregation of the Resurrection.
The Archives Committee meets sporadically when issues arise that need to be addressed.
