- ADMINISTRATIVE HISTORY
The St. Jerome's Performing Arts Series began in 1982. It was co-sponsored by the University of St. Jerome's College and the Ontario Arts Council. The programs encompassed drama, music, films, and poetry readings and were intended to make the performing arts as accessible as possible to the university community and the general public. The last series was offered during 1985/1986.
SCOPE AND CONTENTS
This sub-series is comprised of advertising flyers, brochures, memorandae, reviews, and newspaper articles for the St. Jerome's Performing Arts Series, 1982/1983 to 1985/1986.

St. Jerome's University is located in Waterloo, Ontario, and is situated in the University of Waterloo. It was founded as St. Jerome's College in 1865 by the Congregation of the Resurrection. In 1959, it was granted university status and changed its name to the University of St. Jerome's College. It has been federated with the University of Waterloo since 1960. In 1998, the name was officially changed to St. Jerome's University.
