- SCOPE AND CONTENTS
This series is comprised of copies of some of the many journal and magazine articles written by Michael W. Higgins on Catholicism, the Church, Synods, religious authors and persons. Included in the records are articles in such publications as The Tablet, Gamut, Grail, The Merton Seasonal, The Merton Annual, the Antigonish Review, the American Benedictine Review, the Canadian Catholic Review, The Ecumenist, Macleans magazine, Commonweal, and other miscellaneous articles. Also included is a Toronto Star e-book in which Michael Higgins is quoted.
There is a copy of the journal, "Offerings", A Journal of Christian Spirituality and Practical Theology, Volume 11, 2019, in which Michael Higgins contributed a book review on Henri Nouwen.

St. Jerome's University is located in Waterloo, Ontario, and is situated in the University of Waterloo. It was founded as St. Jerome's College in 1865 by the Congregation of the Resurrection. In 1959, it was granted university status and changed its name to the University of St. Jerome's College. It has been federated with the University of Waterloo since 1960. In 1998, the name was officially changed to St. Jerome's University.
