- ADMINISTRATIVE HISTORY
Dr. Michael W. Higgins was appointed Senior Executive in Residence at Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Connecticut, in 2010. At this time he was working on a biography of Henri J.M. Nouwen, an internationally renowned priest and author. Later in 2010 Sacred Heart University named Dr. Higgins Vice-President for Mission and Catholic Identity. He holds this post at the present time.
SCOPE AND CONTENTS
This series is comprised of correspondence, commemorative booklets, a copy of the program and poster for Vatican II: 50th Anniversary Celebration Conference (April, 2012) which was sponsored by and held at Sacred Heart University, a copy of the Fall, 2014 Sacred Heart University Magazine, and a 50th Anniversary poster.

St. Jerome's University is located in Waterloo, Ontario, and is situated in the University of Waterloo. It was founded as St. Jerome's College in 1865 by the Congregation of the Resurrection. In 1959, it was granted university status and changed its name to the University of St. Jerome's College. It has been federated with the University of Waterloo since 1960. In 1998, the name was officially changed to St. Jerome's University.
