- ADMINISTRATIVE HISTORY
Under the portfolio of the Vice-President, Administration, Human Resources is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of employee relations, non-faculty recruitment, promotion of equal opportunities, orientation, development and interpretation of the Human Resources policies, assistance with managing job performance, providing advice on employment contracts, employment standards, and employee relations.
As of Fall 2019 the Executive Director of Finance and Administration is now responsible for overseeing Human Resources.
SCOPE AND CONTENTS
This series is comprised of the records for the Office of Human Resources. Records include memorandum, job descriptions, a copy of the Millenial Edition of the St. Jerome's University Handbook, 2000-2004, and a copy of the Staff Manual. There is also a copy of the Collective Agreement between The St. Jerome's University Academic Staff Association and the Board of Governors of St. Jerome's University.

St. Jerome's University is located in Waterloo, Ontario, and is situated in the University of Waterloo. It was founded as St. Jerome's College in 1865 by the Congregation of the Resurrection. In 1959, it was granted university status and changed its name to the University of St. Jerome's College. It has been federated with the University of Waterloo since 1960. In 1998, the name was officially changed to St. Jerome's University.
