St. Jerome's has a new President and a new Chancellor, and will hold a Ceremony of Installation for both on Saturday, September 15th in historic St. Agatha Church. Our new Chancellor is a familiar and respected face at St. Jerome's. Dr. Peter Naus retired from SJU in 1996 after a distinguished 23 year career in teaching, research and administration. He succeeds Richard Gwyn as our sixth Chancellor, and stepped into that role in January, 2007. Our new President, Dr. David B. Perrin, OMI, taught and served as a senior administrator, including Dean of Theology, for sixteen years at St. Paul University in Ottawa. He has also served as Provincial of his religious order, the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, as President of the Galilee Mission Centre of Arnprior, and as President of the International Society for the Study of Christian Spirituality. St. Jerome's welcomes him as our sixth President when he assumes office on August 1, 2007.
